In this program we have the following objectives:

Agroecology and Bioeconomy

In this program we have the following objectives: 

  • Provide training and technical support to farmers on sustainable agricultural practices, such as agroforestry and organic farming.
  • Establish demonstration farms to showcase sustainable farming methods and encourage their adoption among local farmers.
  • Encourage the cultivation of indigenous crops to preserve biodiversity and enhance resilience to climate change.
  • Support the development of value-added products from agricultural produce, creating economic opportunities for local communities.
  • Facilitate access to markets for sustainably produced agricultural goods through partnerships with local businesses and cooperatives.
  • Conduct research to identify and promote sustainable agricultural technologies that contribute to biodiversity conservation and climate resilience.

Biodiversity management and Ecosytem restoration

In this program we have the following objectives: 

  • Collaborate with communities and stakeholders to develop and implement biodiversity action plans for priority conservation areas.
  • Conduct biodiversity surveys and assessments to monitor species and ecosystem health and identify conservation priorities.
  • Implement ecosystem restoration projects, such as reforestation and invasive species management, to enhance habitat quality and connectivity.
  • Support habitat protection and land-use planning initiatives to safeguard critical habitats and wildlife corridors.
  • Promote sustainable land management practices, such as rotational grazing and agroforestry, to minimize habitat fragmentation and degradation.
