Irene Duhuzukuli Bio
Irene Duhuzukuli is a proficient environmentalist boasting over ten years of experience. He is enhancing his expertise by pursuing a master’s degree in Project Management, building on his academic foundation with a first-class honors bachelor’s degree in Natural Resources and Environmental Management. Irene’s academic pursuits have always been driven by a profound interest in environmental management.
With a strong adherence to principles such as communication, collaboration, coordination, and competence, Irene has established himself as a dependable professional in diverse settings. Currently, he is enriching his knowledge through a master’s program in Project Management and contributing as the Program Manager at BIOCOOR (www.biocoor.rw) since 2020. In this role, he is responsible for overseeing project activities and program planning.
Before his current position, Irene demonstrated his capabilities in management by leading Nyungwe Eco Village (www.nyungwecovillage) and Kitabi Eco Center (www.kitabiecocenter.com), where he excelled in bookings, event planning, and management. His career also includes a tenure as a public relations and communication officer at BIOCOOP Ltd from 2012 to 2015, where he was instrumental in building a positive public image and coordinating events and activities.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Irene is a co-founder of I&J (Innovation for Job Creation Company) and owns the World Travel Miracle Experience Tour Company (https://www.instagram.com/world_travel_miracles), which specializes in organizing tours within Rwanda and internationally. His commitment to professional development is further evidenced by the acquisition of several certificates from within his country and internationally, including Kenya, Burundi, and South Africa. Irene’s dedication to service and community engagement is highlighted by his volunteer work with the American Peace Corps and Challenge Worldwide, serving as a team leader.
