Nyungwe conservation leadership center
The Nyungwe Conservation Leadership Center as a part of Biodiversity Conservation Organization, will represent a pioneering approach to integrating biodiversity conservation with sustainable community development and climate change initiatives. Situated in the heart of Rwanda’s Southern Province, this center will aim to empower local communities, foster entrepreneurial leadership, and promote effective natural resource management. Here’s an outline of what the center will include, structured with a focus on future activities and developments:
- Entrepreneurial leadership.
- Natural resources management, ecojustice and Governance.
- Climate protection and disaster prevention and management.
Nyungwe eco village
NYUNGWE ECO VILLAGE, an initiative by the Biodiversity Conservation Organization, will embody sustainable living principles while providing immersive experiences for visitors to Nyungwe National Park and its surrounding communities. Here’s an overview of what the village will offer:
- Accommodation and Eco camping.
- Ecotours
- Eco transport.
Nyungwe Bio Innovation Center
The NYUNGWE Bio Innovation Center, initiated by the Biodiversity Conservation Organization (BIOCOOR), will serve as a pivotal hub for advancing biodiversity conservation, promoting community health, and addressing climate change challenges in the Southern Province of Rwanda. Here’s how the center will contribute to these goals:
- Botanical Garden and environmental museum.
- One Health and wildlife conservation Technologies.
- Capacity strengthening and Internship programs.
