Professional Profile
Personal Insight
I Muhorakeye Charlotte, born in 1990, a passionate and committed field officer with a strong background in environmental conservation and community development. She currently works with BIOCOOR (Biodiversity Conservation Organization of Rwanda) as a Field Officer since March 2025, where I coordinate field-based activities, including natural resource protection, agroecology promotion, and community engagement. Charlotte holds a Diploma in Forest Resources Management from IPRC Kitabi, where she acquired both theoretical knowledge and practical skills in sustainable forest management, biodiversity conservation, and climate resilience. At BIOCOOR, she plays a key role in implementing activities such as tree planting campaigns, conservation awareness, citizen feedback mechanisms, and youth and women empowerment initiatives, especially in areas surrounding Nyungwe National Park. Her strong sense of responsibility, teamwork, and passion for conservation make her a valuable contributor to community-led environmental initiatives in Rwanda. She remains committed to advocating for sustainable practices and improving the well-being of rural communities.
