Fidele SIBOMANA, born on January 1st, 1983, in Nyamagabe District Tare Sector, current he is Field officer in Biocoor is an experienced Project Director and Community Social Worker with strong communication skills and over 10 years of hands-on experience in project coordination, reporting, and stakeholder engagement. He has worked closely with partners and caregivers in church-based projects supported by Compassion International. Fidele has led planning and organization of events, conducted data collection and evaluations, and demonstrated excellence in planning, negotiation, and coordination. He holds a Bachelor's degree in Mathematics with Education Second Class and is currently pursuing a Master's degree. His environmental contributions include distributing fruit trees to improve community livelihoods and promoting sustainable environmental practices. He is highly adaptive and dependable, with transferable skills in communication, collaboration, proposal writing (including CIV grant proposals), coordination, and data management. Fidele has managed projects serving over 2,000 people, especially in agroforestry, agriculture, and tree planting initiatives. In essence, the Nyungwe Leadership Center is not just a research site, but a dynamic space for leadership, knowledge-sharing, and practical environmental action, aligning with BIOCOOR’s broader vision of conservation impact at local and global levels. From 2011 to 2017, he served as a Communication and Social Worker in a Compassion-supported project (PCD Rwanda), where he developed successful proposals such as livestock support and improved latrine infrastructure for vulnerable families in Musebeya Sector. He also worked as a teacher from 2005 to 2011 and is currently enhancing his expertise through ongoing training with BIOCOOR.
